Flight Totals

We saw 262 flights Saturday! Plus one big fireball, a little less BP next time, of a mosquito swarm containing 27 rockets! Therefore you could say that the actual flight count is around 289!

Motor usage totals reflect the success we had bringing in kids from the make it take it and all of Pavels R&D flights.

ECOF-2002 Fun Events

1) The Mosquito Swarm - The ultimate drag race - as many Estes Mosquito rockets (and other small rockets) as possible launched en-masse. Have your camera ready for the exciting flash-pan ignition. Bring your Mosquitoes and join in the fun.

2) The Drag Drag Race - Let's get the better halves involved in the fun. This is a free flight for the "better-half" of all registered flyers. Prizes given for the most manly-man rocket flown by a woman, and girly-girl rocket flown by a man. Rumor has it the club members who can't get their better halves to fly will cross-dress for this event!

3) Splash Down - How good of a rocket flier are you? Can you put your rocket down in the ECOF ocean (a 5' kiddie pool)? The first to do so wins an Estes Dude - suitable for flotation. Be assured our ocean is blue, but dry (no water). A prize will also be awarded for landing closest to the ocean.
