Fred Jarosch's 02-19-00 Launch Report

I got out to Bong about 9:20 am. I didn't want to pull in the parking lot for fear of getting stuck in the snow. I was on the road for only about 3 or 4 min. when a ranger pulled up. I told him I was waiting for the rocket group. I asked him if someone was going to plow the parking lot. He said yes, but they were not there yet. After a little back and forth he said he would go plow it himself. He was just finishing up when Dean got there. I thought that we would be the only two groups there. We started setting up and after a while, we had a nice small group of people,THAT WANTED TO FLY SOME ROCKETS. Dean, in his report, got all the names right and all the rockets names right. It was lots of fun flying with a small group of people. Everyone got to help each other and was there for you when you needed help. I was the low man of this launch. I got off four "F" flights. But nothing big. But it still was alot of fun. I think more members should get out and just have a good time at a launch.
