Wisconsin Organization of Spacemodeling Hobbyists.Brent L. & Scott G.'s 03-15-03 Bong Launch Report

First let me thank everyone who helped out with setup, registration, RSO, LCO, cleanup, and those who shared their equipment with the club. Brain W, Fred, Scott G., JB, Greg are the first that come to my mind, but I know that there were many others.

We had a total of 28 registered flyers

4 B flights
11 C flights
11 D flights
7 E flights
13 F flights
17 G flights
9 H flights
7 I flights
3 J flights (one still MIA)

82 total flights

We had 3 L1 certification attempts, I know at least one was successful.

$110 in launch fees were collected.

Brian White did registration duties all day long and was a big help. Who is that Brain guy anyway?

Let's not forget Dean Roth who saved the day when we realized that the pad boxes and heads were still in Jerry Selensky's basement after being cleaned up at the Christmas party. Dean raced over to Jerry's house to retrieve the missing equipment and bring it out to the field. While we were waiting for Dean to come out Mike Henke set up his three pad system so we could get started. It failed and wouldn't light anything. Our backup plan was gone out the window. Short story is that the new battery / jump starter worked perfectly once we set up the entire system. We had a great launch and entertained many.
