Meeting minutes 8/28
- Sod Farm Launch Report - a good time was had by all. Pizza donated by Scott G.
and sold as club fund raiser (good lunch).
- Next sod farm launch 9/7.
- Rocket Rummage donated $39 to the club.
- Treasurers Report - Club Balance $990.69.
- New members, who signed up after 6/30/02 will be charged a $5 renewal fee for
2003. If they renew, their membership will expire 12/31/03. Get everyone on a
January due date.
- Sign up for EAA encampment (6 members signed up). No make-it take-it planned.
Mostly static display.
- Paul S. and Pavel to handle Big Bend Cub Scout Blast-off.
- Sod farm launch site search - two sound interested.
- Reviewed NSL requirements. PA and TX have submitted bids for 2003 NSL. WOOSH
to consider 2004.
- Purchased club trailer for launch supplies for $400 from club member Jerry
Selensky. Material to be removed from Dan Wolf's house and put in trailer.
- Club Committees recommended by Dan Wolf.
> Secretary will handle NAR communications (newsletters, etc.).
> All other discussion tabled to next meeting due to time constraints.
- Brent to publish MWRC plan via club email. Sport Launch to be held
concurrently with MWRC. Range setup will be the ECOF layout. Contest will use
pads in the ring, sport flights will use away cells. Will share LCO with sport
launch to avoid confusion between flights. Need LM's and RSO's for sport launch.
