Mark Stehlik and Scott Goebel did a demo at the University school from 4-6pm.

Space day 2004 is being held on May 8th at the Sussex village park.  We need rockets for display please contact Pavel.

Rockets for schools is May 15th and 16th at Spaceport Sheboygan.  Set up is on Friday May 15th.  A real live astronaut will be giving a talk.  They launch into the lake and the Coast Guard retrieves the rocket.  If you can make it you will not be disappointed.

Sod farm launch, scouts built heater seekers, 80 – 90% were successful flights.  The kids said they will come back.

Mark Stehlik discussed having an associate membership for $3.50 a year.  This will entitle them to an email newsletter and a membership card.  Tabled to next month.

We discussed that there should be two people at the LCO table.  It is difficult for LCO to be in charge of launching and recording contest flights and have to announce and push the button for sport flights.

Michaels’ building sessions. Will the scouts show up at our launches? Do we have an opportunity here or not?

Walt Evans, Scott Hansen, and Scott Goebel have made up a club calendar of events flyer to be distributed at local hobby shops and our launches. We printed them up, 50 sheets to a pad.  Please take a pad to your favorite hobby store to advertise our launch dates.

Dean Gelinskey did a demonstration on how to use Photoshop on your computer to generate cool decals that you can print off and decorate your rocket. Dean is one of our newest members. He was brave enough to certify L1 at the April 18th launch with 20 mph winds. Congratulations Dean, way to show Mother Nature whose boss!
