WOOSH MINUTES FOR OCTOBER 25, 2006

 

Attendees: Darlene, Fred, David Swanson, Mike VandeBunt, Scott Goebel, Mark Smeiska, Kurt Schachner, Joe.

 

Meeting came to order at 7:15.

 

Treasurer’s Report read.

 

Christmas party is December 9th at 4:00 p.m. We will have a rocket exchange, dollar amount must be between $20 and $25.

 

We introduced a new member David Swanson.

 

Scott wants everyone to be responsible for his own storage facility. You must have a user permit for anything above a G motor.

 

Talked about Midwest ---- who should do what.

 

Bong dates not available yet.

 

Rocket themes for the sod farm were decided for 2007:

Jan. ---New Years Party rocket     Feb.---Porta potty drag race---  

March ---Lucky Shamrocks          April ---Baseball opening day rockets

May ---The V-2 mass launch        June ---NASA space Flight Vehicles

July ---Fireworks look alike          Aug. ---Medieval flyoff

Sept.---Sci fi - retro, star wars etc. Oct.---Halloweenies.

Nov.---The flying saucer invasion.  Dec.---The Rocket Clause.

 

Glass ornament launch for this December launch.

 

Kurt Schachner showed us movies of his Cineroc flights. They were very entertaining.

 

Scott Goebel showed the rocket he is flying at Midwest power. Huge and beautiful.
