WOOSH MINUTES FOR SEPTEMBER 27, 2006

September 25, 2006 was the tenth anniversary of WOOSH. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

Meeting was brought to order at 7:15p.m.

Scott G. read the minutes for August.

Mark Smeiska offered to host the Christmas Party this year. THANKS MARK!

The Walston was discussed.

Discovery World suggested we join their loop. It would entail making rockets, giving speeches on rockets and launching them. Scott Goebel thought it would be nice to be part of this. We need to get more info on this. Such as cost and what’s expected.

Anyone interested in the motor building session? You can get a book, motor casing and two reloads for $300!

Kurt talked about the Bomarc. He brought it to the meeting. Some of the parts were missing so a friend made some for him. Kurt made the decals for it.

Scott G. passed out some paper rockets to build at the meeting. I heard most of the guys said it was fun. I did not stay until the end of the meeting. D.J.
