WOOSH MINUTES FOR AUGUST 22 2007

Treasury Report

Attendence: Fred J., Darlene J., Brian White, Paul Kinzer, Paul Smith, Scott Goebel, Dan Wolf, Mark Smeiska, Kurt Schachner.

Meeting came to order at 7:15p.m.

Scott read the minutes from the last meeting.

Dan Wolf tried to fix the launch control system [he made it many years ago]. After prodding and poking he decided it was not the “control box” that was broke.

Talked about having the Salem launch at Bong. and if we can’t[because of rain] have it on another day.

Scott mentioned the idea of having a first flight certificate. Everyone thought it was a great idea.

Tim Lehr[our must have supplier] has nothing. The insurance Co. isn’t co-operating. Nobody knows when he’ll be up and running.

We talked about having a club magazine for all club members to use.

We will have a Rocket Shoot for our members that have gone to rocket heaven.

Scotts prize game: Name the 7 Astronauts.

Winner: Brian White. Congrats!!!!!

Rocket of the month: Paul Kinzer--The Drake Fred Jarosch---- The Patriot.

Fred won-[but we all thought again that Scott SHOULD BE ABLE TO WIN AS WELL.
