Mylar Parachutes

The Thrust Junkies made 36" chutes for there C-PD flights from 36" X 84" sheets of metalized Mylar. These chutes are very effective (our rocket went up rather than down), fold down to a very small size, and are cheap (about $0.50/ea). You may ask, "Where do you find such sheets of Mylar?" The answer is the dollar store - however, they call them door wraps. They are designed to make you door look like a big Christmas gift box. Since these sheets are seasonal, I thought I'd pass this along to anyone looking for chute material.
