GETTING THERE: Driving Directions
From the Marriott: Turn east on Washington, go 1.1 miles to South
Green Bay Road and turn right. Total drive distance on this road is about
4.8 miles; but when you cross 1st Street, S. Green Bay Road becomes just
plain Green Bay Road. Turn left on 7th Street, go another 1.4 miles to Wood
and turn right.
It has been brought to our attention that the driving directions as
originally stated on the website are a bit confusing, though essentially
correct. This confusion is due to County Road A making a jog to the south
when it crosses Highway 31. Amended directions are as follows:
From the north/Milwaukee: Take I-94 east toward Chicago and exit east
onto County Road E. After approximately 5 miles you will see UWP on your
left. Stay on E until you get all the way to Wood Street (Hwy G) and turn
left (north). Inner Loop Road and Outer Loop Road will be on your left, with
parking available in the indicated lot on Outer Loop.
From the south/Chicago: Take I-94 west toward Milwaukee and exit east
onto County Road E. After approximately 5 miles you will see UWP on your
left. Stay on E until you get all the way to Wood Street (Hwy G) and turn
left (north). Inner Loop Road and Outer Loop Road will be on your left, with
parking available in the indicated lot on Outer Loop.
OTHER OPTIONS
For those of you flying in, the Marriott advertises bus service from
Mitchell Airport to the hotel. Call ahead to verify and make arrangements.
Amtrak and Greyhound each have a transfer point nearby, both of which are
connected to the hotel and UWP by the Racine Belle Urban Bus System.
