NARCON “Mixer”—Held between the time the doors open on Friday evening and the start of the Opening Ceremonies, this is a chance for you to mingle with the other attendees, greet old friends and make new ones, find the meeting rooms, and visit the vendors.

Opening Ceremonies—A general welcome and orientation session, where your NARCON Director will provide notes regarding any changes or updates as well as address the attendees.

Keynote Addresses—A chance for you to hear people of particular note speak on matters relating to the convention theme. The NARCON 2005 speakers will be Event Director Gabe Kolesari, Special Guest Ky Michaelson and Vern and Gleda Estes.

NAR Town Meeting—NAR President Mark Bundick will conduct an open meeting for all attending NAR members.

Raffle—Throughout the weekend we will be raffling off our ever-growing stockpile of prizes, donated by rocketry companies across the country. Our list of supporting vendors is here.

HPR Sport LaunchWOOSH will be holding a HPR Sport Launch at Richard Bong State Recreational Area the weekend of NARCON. This launch is open to all size motors from Micro Maxx, to K and beyond. We have a 10,000ft waiver in effect. Please pre-register to fly HERE. Hybrid support will be provided by Scott Miller from SFSM Industries.

Pre-College MITI—This is actually before NARCON begins. We will be building rockets with middle school age students. This is for our host sponsor UW-P. The kit will be the The Squirrel Works Freebird. The kits have been donated by The Squirrel Works. There will be a launch later in the afternoon for the kids to fly the rockets. If you have an interest in helping out with the session please make sure you check it off on your registration form. More information will be upcoming on this event.

What's It Like Up There?—The human side of spaceflight: how astronauts are chosen, training, the night before launch, going to the launch pad, leaving Earth, working and living in space, overcoming problems, doing a spacewalk, and returning to Earth. Jay Apt has done it four times, worked a score of spaceflights from mission control, and seen crews meeting the challenges of training and flying in space. Perfect for both adult and school-age audiences. This is your personal trip into space!

TRF Get Together—The Rocketry Forum gathering will be held after the Estes speech on Saturday night. It will be located at the Texas Roadhouse in Kenosha. You will be able to sign up to attend at the Flis Kits booth.
