Parachute Making—Ever wanted to know how to make your own chutes? Than this is the session for you. Ted Cochran will show you how it is done.  HERE is an example of one of Ted's chutes at work.

Decaffeinator Building Session—This session will be held by Jim Flis from Flis Kits.  Participants will be able to build one of his wacky new release kits called The Decaffeinator.

Building with Ultra-Light Materials & Extravaganza Style Egglofter—A short lecture about ultra light materials. This will be followed by a building session where participants can build an ultra light egglofter (either duration or altitude will be offered).

Building Session: Flex-Wing Glider—Kevin Wickart will give participants the opportunity to build and trim basic flexies using principles from Pavel Pinkas's winning R&D report.

Homemade Mid-Power Igniters—Ever want to learn how to build your own mid-power igniters?  This is the session for you. WOOSH's own president, Scott Goebel, will show you how.

Making Carbon Fiber Components—Jim Russell will show you how to make light weight components for your rockets with carbon fiber.

Kit Bash—WOOSH's own Mark Smeiska is going to lead you through this Kit bash. Come prepared, some supplies will be provided for this event.

Flying Saucer Building Session—Mark Smeiska will lead you through the ins-and-outs of building your very own UFO.

Your Own Cape Canaveral - Building & Maintaining Your Ground Support Equipment—After you have finished building your rocket you will want to fly it. ( That's half the fun!) Regardless of the size of the rocket, you will need an electrical ignition system and a launch pad to support the rocket until it takes to the air. This building workshop will cover some of the launch controllers and pads that are commercially available, some different examples of homemade launch controllers, away cells, and pads, basic maintenance of your equipment, plus give attendees the chance to build their own cheap pad that complies with the Model Rocket Safety Code. Session will be limited to 25 people. Please make sure you make this one. Presented by Michael G. Erpelding.
