Power Launch Registration

Non-members who wish to fly high power rockets at WOOSH club launches must pre-register.

The sport launches at Bong are open to ALL types of rocket flying, it's not just for
HPR. People flying model rockets do not need to pre-register and do not
need to pay the launch fee if they are non-members. Of course we
encourage everyone to become a member of WOOSH!

The HPR registrar may change for each launch. Check this page each month
to determine the
correct registration procedure.
- Non-members are registered on a first-come, first-served basis.
- A $5.00 Launch Fee for the weekend will be collected at the launch
site from non-member HPR fliers. The flier may opt to become a member of WOOSH for $10.00,
thereby not having to pay launch fees or needing to pre-register for the rest
of the year.
- Proof of current NAR or TRA membership and certification level is required at the range.

There is a limit of 10 non-member HPR fliers for the March 15th, 2003, HPR Sport Launch.
Our waiver is for 10,000' MSL.
Non-members can register by calling Jeff Pawlak at 847.548.9798 before 9:00pm for Saturday the 17th, Mike Henke at 608.754.1912 for Sunday the 18th, or by registering online.
NOTE: Motors are limited to a maximum of K impulse unless you contact the Launch Manager prior to the launch and receive approval. This meets Launch Managers are Jeff Pawlak - 847.548.9798 and Mike Henke - 608.754.1912.
