WOOSH
Pop Submissions
Ladies and gentlemen!
Welcome to a new season, the season where we shoot for receiving the newsletter award (or at least improving our newsletter).
Since we extended the newsletter format to a full 12 pages we need more content. This is a call for articles for The WOOSH Pop. Any
article is welcome, but some will be preferred:
* Major event coverage (with pictures if possible)
* Rocket plan (egglofter plan from a past issue helped several people to place at NARAM)
* Letter from President (I believe Mr. President volunteered to do these on regular basis)
* Technical article about just anything somewhat related to rocketry
* Rocketry humor (let's fringe a few copyrights if necessary)
* Rocketry or space themed novels or series
* Product reviews
* Anything else. Including anything Carol Lee DID write
A few tips for submitting your article:
* Word format is preferred, but almost any reasonable known text format can be accepted. However, I need to convert everything to plain ASCII first and that takes care of all the formatting you do. If I can
visualize your article in original format, I will try to mimic the formatting (as long as it does not conflict too much with conventions that I use in TWP).
* JPG format is preferred for photos, PostScript for drawings. When generating the PostScript, please make sure that the file does not include a printer specific header (if you do not know what it is, don't worry about it, I'll let you know if needed).
* If submitting several files, .zip or .tar.gz archives are OK. Please, no password protection on archives or exotic compression methods.
* Email is wonderful, attachments should not exceed 2GB (gigabytes).
Contact
